Dr. Bao-Tran Nguyen​​​​​​​

Dr. Bao- Tran Nguyen received her Therapeutic Optometry and Optometric Glaucoma certifications from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2002. She completed her Ocular Disease and Pathology Clinical Externship at St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Nguyen did her second externship in Primary Eyecare at various community clinics, which served low-income families.

Dr. Nguyen is a veteran optometrist. She has diverse clinical experience in both the diagnosis and management of eye diseases. Combined with her experience in the preventive eyecare sector, her treatments use effective techniques and holistic wisdom to diagnose and effectively manage various eye diseases. Her approach is that treating the eye is not an independent practice but a comprehensive one.

Outside of her clinical experience, Dr. Nguyen uses her life experiences with her own vision conditions and her experience as a mother to educate patients on the values of preventive eyecare throughout life and the importance of proper diet and nutrition in managing various ocular conditions. In her spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys weightlifting, traveling, reading, spending time with her two children, and exploring the great state of Texas.

Dr. Hang T. Nguyen​​​​​​​

Dr. Hang T. Nguyen is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist at Vision Source Grove Heights. She graduated with honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Nguyen has successfully owned and managed several optometric offices and has consulted on operations management for many medical and optometric practices.

She has also served as a Doctor Advisor for numerous vision insurance committees. Dr. Nguyen is highly experienced in providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating a variety of ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders. Specializing in myopia management, specialty contact lens fittings like Ortho K and scleral lenses, and dry eye treatments, she stays current with the latest research by attending annual seminars.

Dr. Nguyen is well-respected for sharing her business knowledge and management expertise with her peers, helping others develop and sustain their practices. Her dedication to patient care has earned her the loyalty of many, even those who travel from other states and countries. Above all, Dr. Nguyen's commitment to educating and communicating with her patients to maintain their ocular health and prevent vision loss is her greatest strength. Her passion for optometry and unwavering devotion to her patients make her stand out as an exceptional professional, often taking the extra step to check in with her patients after hours to ensure their progress and address any concerns.
